Terms of Service

Our Membership Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all memberships provided by Home Lock Care for residents in Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and Lancashire. We offer monthly billing plans designed to keep your home’s external doors, locks, and UPVC windows in peak condition. Home Lock Care memberships are preventative maintenance plans and are not insurance products. Each plan includes one annual service visit as standard. For our Protect plan members, we also provide one additional repair visit annually, including all required parts and labour, subject to fair and residential usage.

Payments, Repairs and Liability

Memberships renew automatically every 12 months unless cancelled during the renewal cooling-off period. Customers have 14 days from the renewal date to cancel the renewed membership, provided no service visit or claim has been carried out during that period. After the 14-day renewal cooling-off period ends, the renewed membership will continue for the next 12-month term. Please note that missed payments may lead to a suspension of your cover. While we strive to attend to all requests promptly, Home Lock Care is not liable for pre-existing faults or damage caused by misuse.

Cancellations and Availability

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from joining or renewing to cancel for a full refund, provided no visit has taken place. Memberships renew automatically for further 12-month terms unless cancelled during the 14-day renewal cooling-off period. Cancellation requests can be made by phone or email. Please be aware that refunds are not guaranteed if a customer cancels after receiving an annual service. All bookings are subject to engineer availability in your postcode. Your personal data is handled securely in line with our separate Privacy Policy.
